- • The Digital Content Specialist is a content strategy and UX writing professional on the Creative Team within the Communications and Marketing Services Unit, responsible for planning, writing, and optimizing user-centered content for FoundationCCC’s website, digital experiences, program, event and website projects to ensure clarity, accessibility, and alignment with project goals and user needs.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include writing and editing web content such as page copy, navigation labels, microcopy, forms, help text, and calls to action; partnering with designers on content hierarchy and layout; developing content strategies for intuitive user journeys; refining information architecture and taxonomy; conducting keyword research and implementing SEO best practices; using analytics to improve content effectiveness; and collaborating with project teams to clarify goals and incorporate feedback.
- • The Foundation for California Community Colleges is a mission-driven organization dedicated to supporting and enhancing the California Community Colleges system—the largest and most diverse higher education system in the nation—with a goal to double its impact in the next 10 years through collaboration with public and private partners to improve student experience and expand pathways to economic and social mobility.
