- • Join d-Matrix Corporation, a pioneering company at the vanguard of generative AI, where we are dedicated to unlocking the transformative power of artificial intelligence across the technological landscape. We are actively pushing the boundaries of both software and hardware innovation, striving to redefine what's achievable in the AI domain. Our organizational ethos is deeply rooted in a culture of mutual respect and seamless collaboration, fostering an environment where every team member's contribution is valued.
- • At d-Matrix, we champion humility and advocate for transparent, direct communication. We believe that our strength lies in our diversity; our inclusive team thrives on a rich tapestry of differing perspectives, which consistently leads to the development of superior solutions. We are actively seeking individuals who possess an unyielding passion for confronting complex challenges and are driven by a relentless pursuit of execution. If you are ready to discover your creative playground and contribute to shaping the boundless possibilities of AI, we invite you to join us.
- • In this pivotal role as a Digital Design Engineer, Micro-Architect, Principal, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of AI hardware. Your primary responsibility will be the intricate micro-architecture and design of critical AI sub-system modules, with a specific focus on Single Instruction, Multiple Data (SIMD) architectures and advanced Hardware Execution Engines. This role demands a deep understanding of how to translate complex computational requirements into efficient, high-performance hardware designs.
- • A key aspect of your contribution will involve the definition and meticulous implementation of a Custom Instruction Set Architecture (ISA). You will collaborate closely with our System Architects to develop highly efficient C-Kernels that leverage this Custom ISA, ensuring optimal performance and resource utilization. This collaborative effort is crucial for bridging the gap between high-level software logic and the underlying hardware capabilities.
- • You will take complete ownership of the design lifecycle for your assigned modules. This encompasses the detailed design, comprehensive documentation, rigorous execution, and the ultimate delivery of fully verified RTL (Register-Transfer Level) code. Your designs must meet stringent targets for high performance, optimal area utilization, and exceptional power efficiency, aligning perfectly with the overall design specifications and project goals.
- • The scope of your work will extend to the design of the micro-architecture and RTL itself, followed by the critical stages of synthesis and logic and timing verification. You will be utilizing leading-edge CAD tools and working with advanced semiconductor process technologies to ensure the robustness and efficiency of your designs. This requires a forward-thinking approach to hardware design, anticipating future technological advancements.
- • Furthermore, you will be responsible for designing and implementing sophisticated logic functions specifically engineered to facilitate efficient testing and debugging processes. This proactive approach to design for testability (DFT) is paramount in reducing development time and ensuring silicon quality. Your expertise will also be called upon during the crucial silicon bring-up and validation phases for the blocks you own, providing essential insights and support to ensure successful product integration.
- • This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the development of next-generation AI hardware. You will be working alongside a team of highly skilled engineers and researchers in a dynamic and innovative environment. Your contributions will directly influence the performance, efficiency, and capabilities of our cutting-edge AI systems, helping to drive the future of artificial intelligence.
