- • The GTM Product Enablement Lead at OpenAI plays a critical role in bridging product innovation with market execution, ensuring that cutting-edge AI technologies are not only developed but also effectively understood, sold, and deployed by go-to-market teams. This role is essential to scaling OpenAI’s impact by transforming rapid product advancements into actionable field readiness, directly influencing how quickly and successfully customers adopt AI solutions.
- • In this role, you will design and operationalize the systems, workflows, and feedback mechanisms that enable GTM teams to keep pace with OpenAI’s fast-evolving product portfolio. You will translate complex technical capabilities—such as APIs, model capabilities, and AI workflows—into clear, compelling narratives, use cases, and playbooks that empower sales, solutions, marketing, and support teams to articulate value and drive adoption.
- • You will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to ensure that product launches are accompanied by robust enablement strategies, establishing continuous feedback loops from the field to inform product roadmap, positioning, and packaging decisions. Your work will directly shape how OpenAI’s innovations reach users at scale.
- • You will build scalable enablement systems—not just one-off trainings or content—that support onboarding, continuous learning, and product adoption across global GTM teams. This includes defining and tracking key performance metrics such as ramp time, product adoption rates, and deal velocity to measure the effectiveness of enablement initiatives.
- • You will identify gaps in current GTM workflows and leverage automation, AI, and operational rigor to create scalable solutions that improve how teams sell, position, and deploy OpenAI’s products in real-world customer environments.
- • OpenAI’s GTM team is a high-impact, cross-functional unit composed of Sales, Solutions, Support, Marketing, and Partnership professionals united by the mission to bring safe and beneficial AI to as many users as possible. Working within this team means collaborating with some of the most talented professionals in AI commercialization, all dedicated to maximizing the reach and responsibility of OpenAI’s technologies.

- • Experience building and scaling enablement programs, systems, or workflows in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment
- • Strong product intuition with the ability to quickly understand complex technical products (e.g., APIs, AI systems) and translate them into clear business value and GTM narratives
- • Proven track record of working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, or Marketing teams to drive alignment and execution
- • Deep operational rigor, including experience defining KPIs, measuring impact, and using data to inform enablement effectiveness
- • Systems mindset—focused on building scalable, repeatable solutions rather than one-off deliverables
- • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences, including non-technical stakeholders
