- • As Director of Technical Accounting and Special Projects at Pax8, you will serve as the enterprise-wide authority on accounting policy and lead high-impact finance initiatives that ensure audit readiness amid rapid growth in marketplace and AI-powered capabilities.
- • You will own the 'source of truth' for accounting guidance, evaluate complex transactions early, lead strategic finance programs such as U.S. GAAP revenue conversion and Revenue Management System (RMS) implementation, partner with external auditors, and create audit-ready documentation to support scalable financial operations.

- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in technical accounting leadership, gain experience driving finance transformation at scale, and strengthen your ability to influence cross-functional strategy while ensuring accounting practices evolve confidently with the business.
🎯 Requirements
- • CPA required with strong foundation in accounting principles and policy ownership
- • Extensive expertise in U.S. GAAP, including revenue-related topics and judgement-based accounting conclusions
- • Demonstrated experience leading or supporting revenue conversions, restatements, or high-stakes technical accounting projects
- • Proven ability to lead major cross-functional initiatives involving systems, process redesign, controls, or finance transformation
- • Confidence partnering with auditors and senior stakeholders with a track record of clear, structured responses and documentation
- • Experience with ERP and/or financial systems implementations; revenue-focused systems experience highly valued
