- ⢠The Sr Clinical Research Data Specialist supports high-quality data management for complex clinical studies, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting in alignment with University of Rochesterās Meliora values of equity, leadership, integrity, openness, respect, and accountability.
- ⢠Day-to-day responsibilities include performing data entry and verification, conducting quality checks against source records, developing data entry plans, mentoring junior staff, preparing data for analysis and reporting, supporting custom data workflow solutions, and ensuring adherence to SOPs, CFR, GCP, and GDP standards.
- ⢠The role is part of the Neurology - NMD M & D department at the University of Rochester, collaborating with investigational faculty, clinical trial office staff, and sponsor contacts to maintain data integrity and support protocol objectives across multiple studies.
- ⢠The specialist will deepen expertise in clinical research data management, gain mentorship experience, strengthen regulatory knowledge (CFR, GCP, GDP), and develop leadership skills in training and process improvement while contributing to impactful neurological research.
šÆ Requirements
- ⢠Bachelorās degree required
- ⢠2 years of relevant clinical research or data management experience required
- ⢠Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), email, and internet required
- ⢠Working knowledge of clinical trial processes, regulatory standards (CFR, GCP, GDP), and SOPs required
- ⢠CCRC or CCRP certification preferred
- ⢠Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills required
