- • As Director of AI & ERP Systems at Demandridge (a Valsoft Corporation company), you will lead the strategic evolution of mission-critical ERP platforms into intelligent, AI-enabled systems, combining deep technical ownership of legacy infrastructure with forward-looking innovation to drive operational excellence and business value for customers in the print and promotional products industry.
- • You will own engineering health, delivery, and technical direction for the ERP platform—primarily C and Providex-based client-server systems running on Linux and Windows VMs in Azure or on-prem—while leading incident response, defining on-call processes, and ensuring 24/7 system reliability as the escalation point for critical production issues.
- • You will partner with product, support, and leadership teams to define and execute an AI-enabled ERP roadmap, identifying opportunities to embed AI/ML into workflows, guiding data pipelines and model integration, evaluating third-party AI tools, and ensuring governance, security, and compliance for AI systems.
- • You will lead and grow the ERP engineering team, setting pragmatic standards for legacy modernization, balancing innovation with stability, mentoring engineers, and driving infrastructure automation improvements in Azure to support cloud and SaaS evolution.
- • You will translate AI capabilities into measurable business outcomes—such as revenue growth, cost reduction, or efficiency gains—by shipping production AI systems that deliver real value, not just prototypes, while stabilizing the core ERP platform and defining a credible vision for a next-generation intelligent ERP architecture.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience in a senior engineering leadership role overseeing ERP or other mission-critical enterprise systems
- • Hands-on exposure to AI/ML initiatives with ability to translate technical capabilities into measurable business value (revenue growth, cost reduction, efficiency gains)
- • Demonstrated track record of shipping AI systems into production that deliver real outcomes, not just internal experiments or prototypes
- • Experience with legacy system modernization (particularly C and Providex) while maintaining stability for existing customers
- • Strong background in cloud infrastructure, preferably Microsoft Azure, including disaster recovery, backups, patching, and infrastructure automation
- • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills to partner with Product, Support, and Leadership teams
