đź“‹ Description
- • As the Director, Analytics at Clover Health, you will be at the forefront of leveraging advanced analytics, data engineering, and statistical modeling to transform large-scale healthcare operational datasets into actionable insights that drive critical organizational decision-making. This pivotal role demands a strategic leader who can architect, implement, and continuously optimize an enterprise-grade analytics platform, built upon the robust foundation of Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will be instrumental in shaping the future of how Clover Health utilizes data to enhance value-based care operations, improve provider and payer efficiency, and ultimately elevate patient outcomes.
- • Your strategic vision will guide the design and ongoing enhancement of our analytics platform, ensuring it is scalable, reliable, and equipped to handle the complexities of healthcare data. This includes overseeing the development and maintenance of sophisticated data pipelines, robust semantic layers, and intuitive reporting systems. You will be responsible for enabling seamless access to data through leading Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Mode, Looker, and Tableau, empowering stakeholders across the organization with the information they need to succeed.
- • The core of your work will revolve around critical areas of value-based care operations. This encompasses deep dives into risk adjustment methodologies, comprehensive claims analytics, meticulous quality reporting, and the development of executive dashboards that provide a clear, concise view of organizational performance. Your efforts will directly support both providers and payers in their mission to improve health outcomes and operational efficiency. It is important to note that our platforms are meticulously built for operational, financial, and quality data, distinct from clinical trial or research data, ensuring a focused and impactful approach to healthcare analytics.
- • The data you will work with is rich and diverse, including claims data, risk adjustment information, quality reporting metrics, and essential member and provider attributes. This comprehensive dataset serves as the bedrock for sophisticated analyses in population health management, accurate forecasting, and rigorous performance evaluation. Your leadership will ensure that this data is not only accessible but also leveraged to its fullest potential, driving strategic initiatives and informed strategies.
- • A fundamental aspect of this role is ensuring strict adherence to HIPAA compliance and all established data governance policies. While the focus is on operational healthcare data, maintaining the highest standards of data privacy and integrity is paramount. You will be the guardian of our data, ensuring its responsible and ethical use throughout the organization.
- • Your responsibilities extend beyond technical oversight to encompass the leadership and development of a high-performing team. You will manage a talented group of data scientists, analysts, and BI developers, fostering a collaborative environment where innovation thrives. Your guidance will be crucial in empowering your team to most effectively drive impact for our users and, by extension, their patients. This involves mentoring, skill development, and ensuring the team is aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
- • A key focus will be on identifying and prioritizing the highest-impact opportunities for both analytics data platform enhancements and business improvements. You will possess a keen ability to balance the needs of our users with the strategic goals of the business, ensuring that every initiative delivers tangible value. This proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement will be a hallmark of your leadership.
- • As a valued member of the Counterpart technology leadership team, you will play an active role in shaping the strategic direction of our product and engineering efforts. This includes contributing to the definition and design of Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for the product and individual pods, ensuring alignment and driving collective success. Your expertise will be invaluable in setting ambitious yet achievable goals that propel Clover Health forward.
- • You will serve as the primary subject matter expert within Counterpart for all things analytics, data engineering, and data science. This involves staying abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and translating that knowledge into strategic recommendations and operational improvements for the organization. Your deep understanding of data and analytics will be a critical asset in guiding Clover Health's data-driven transformation.
- • Ultimately, this role is about more than just managing data; it's about driving meaningful change in healthcare. You will be instrumental in building a data-centric culture, enabling data-informed decisions at all levels, and contributing to Clover Health's mission of improving the health and well-being of its members through innovative and effective analytics solutions.
