📋 Description

• As a Director Analyst in Gartner’s CIO and AI Leader group, you will serve as a strategic thought leader shaping the future of technology operations and implementation for global CIOs, transforming complex market shifts into actionable insights through AI and data transformation.
• You will track global market trends in key industries and emerging technologies, lead qualitative and quantitative studies, write evidence-based content, and deliver high-impact advice to CIOs, AI leaders, and technology executives via webinars, briefings, and client engagements.
• You will join Gartner’s Business and Technology Insights organization, a global team of 20,000 associates supporting over 13,000 client enterprises across 90 countries, where you will establish credibility as a trusted advisor and mentor junior team members.
• You will develop deep expertise in AI platform integration, data modernization, and cloud infrastructure, while building your influence as a definitive voice in the industry through research, presentations, and client advisory work that drives real-world impact.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years’ experience as an information technology executive in government, banking, manufacturing, or healthcare
• Deep technical background in IT department engineering disciplines (e.g., platform engineer for AI, systems engineer, cloud engineer, solutions architect)
• Experience preparing organizations for AI readiness, including modernizing data architecture and cloud compute for AI agent orchestration
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Executive presence with ability to establish immediate credibility with C-suite stakeholders
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely
• Proficiency in analyzing and synthesizing data to apply frameworks and defend conclusions to client challenges
• Fluency in written and spoken English required for daily communication with clients and colleagues across North America
