  • • As the Director, Content Strategy & Operations at Cengage, you will be a pivotal leader within the Milady division, tasked with revolutionizing trades education for the next generation of professionals.
  • • This role is instrumental in transforming our learning experiences into intuitive, impactful digital platforms that empower students, educators, and institutions nationwide.
  • • You will spearhead the evolution of content production processes, driving efficiency, scalability, and innovation to meet the dynamic needs of the education technology landscape.
  • • Your leadership will extend to overseeing the content and operations functions, encompassing Portfolio, Content & Learning, and Production teams, setting a clear strategic vision for each.
  • • You will define and execute strategies for subject area portfolios, content development, and operational execution, ensuring alignment with overarching company objectives and critical market demands.
  • • A key aspect of this role involves close collaboration with cross-functional Directors of Product, Marketing, and Sales to architect a comprehensive content and production strategy.
  • • This strategy will be designed to significantly enhance customer engagement, foster deeper user interaction, and drive substantial growth in our digital user base.
  • • You will be a catalyst for innovation in content strategy and operations, focusing on initiatives that demonstrably increase user engagement and expand the annual reach of learners.
  • • In Portfolio Management, you will guide a team of Portfolio Managers in delivering market-informed business proposals for all trades programs offered by Milady.
  • • This includes the regular analysis of product and portfolio plans, ensuring alignment with forecasting models and the rigorous measurement of progress towards strategic goals.
  • • You will be responsible for developing compelling business cases that justify strategic investments in content and product development.
  • • For Content Operations, you will orchestrate a seamless, multi-channel content lifecycle, from initial planning and meticulous production to effective distribution, insightful measurement, and continuous optimization.
  • • A significant part of your mandate will be to identify and implement novel applications of technology to accelerate content creation timelines.
  • • This ensures that learners consistently have access to the most relevant, up-to-date, and engaging learning experiences available.
  • • You will design and implement regional and global content strategies that are specifically engineered to drive user engagement and cultivate lasting loyalty.
  • • Ultimately, your efforts will result in the delivery of content and learning experiences that yield demonstrably positive outcomes for learners.
  • • As the Voice of the Customer, you will lead your teams in adopting a customer-centric methodology.
