📋 Description

• The Director, Corporate Development at Viatris Inc. leads the evaluation and execution of strategic transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and licensing deals, serving as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and the Board to drive corporate growth objectives.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include leading end-to-end financial analysis and valuation, building and refining complex financial models, driving transaction structuring and negotiations, synthesizing cross-functional inputs into actionable recommendations, managing relationships with external advisors, and enhancing Corporate Development processes and reporting frameworks.
• Viatris is a global healthcare company that combines generics and brands to deliver high-quality medicines to approximately 1 billion patients annually, with a mission to empower people worldwide to live healthier at every stage of life, recognized on multiple award lists for its impact.
• The role offers the opportunity to develop advanced deal-making expertise, influence senior leadership decisions, lead high-visibility cross-functional initiatives, and deepen expertise in pharmaceutical corporate development while contributing to meaningful global health outcomes.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
• 6-10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or a related field
• Advanced financial modeling and valuation expertise across various transaction types
• Proven ability to independently lead complex, high-visibility projects and influence senior stakeholders
• Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills with attention to detail
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and external advisors in transaction environments
