- • As the Director, Data Analytics Consulting at Brown & Brown Insurance, you will be at the forefront of transforming raw data into strategic assets that drive significant business growth and enhance client value. This pivotal role is responsible for shaping and executing the organization’s comprehensive benchmarking and survey strategies, with a specialized focus on non-medical employee benefits. Your expertise will encompass a wide range of insurance products, including Life, Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D), Disability, Dental, Vision, and Voluntary benefits, alongside related employer practices.
- • You will be instrumental in developing and implementing scalable frameworks, pioneering innovative analytical approaches, and crafting data-driven solutions that are meticulously aligned with both organizational objectives and evolving market trends. This position demands a strategic mindset, enabling you to act as a trusted advisor to internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring that all benchmarking and survey initiatives remain relevant, impactful, and foster a spirit of collaboration.
- • A key aspect of your role will involve partnering across various business practices to gain a deep understanding of market dynamics and the specific business needs of our clients, particularly as they relate to both structured and unstructured data. You will define and lead the overarching direction of client analytics, benchmarking, and survey initiatives, ensuring they are in lockstep with organizational goals and adhere to industry best practices.
- • You will leverage and elevate our existing business intelligence solutions to deliver not just data, but meaningful insights that translate into measurable Return on Investment (ROI) for both our internal teams and our external clients. This involves leading complex projects and initiatives, drawing upon your specialized areas of expertise to guide them to successful completion.
- • The design of scalable models and frameworks will be a core responsibility, ensuring these solutions can effectively support current business needs while also anticipating and adapting to future-state requirements. You will be empowered to make strategic recommendations to leadership regarding key areas for investment in tools, technologies, and other critical infrastructure to support our data analytics capabilities.
- • As a team leader, you will provide direction and mentorship to Analytics Associates, ensuring the seamless and high-quality execution of all benchmarking deliverables. A significant part of your leadership will be fostering a culture that champions collaboration, accountability, and a commitment to continuous improvement within your team and across the organization.
- • You will actively engage with internal clients, dedicating time to thoroughly understand their unique needs and challenges, and subsequently delivering structured benchmarking and analytics information that directly addresses these requirements. Your strategic insights will be crucial in informing client decisions and steering them towards sustainable business growth.
- • Maintaining the integrity of our analytics and benchmarking data is paramount. You will be responsible for designing and overseeing processes that ensure this data remains current, accurate, and consistently insightful, forming the bedrock of reliable analysis.
- • Furthermore, you will be tasked with implementing innovative approaches to continuously evolve and effectively market our data solutions, ensuring they remain competitive and valuable as the business expands and market demands shift. 🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Analytics, Computer Science).
- • 8+ years of progressive experience in data analytics, with a proven track record of delivering actionable insights and leading analytics initiatives.
- • Advanced proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools, with a strong preference for Power BI. Experience with other BI tools will also be considered.
- • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite applications, particularly Excel, for data manipulation, analysis, and presentation.
- • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex trends, identify strategic opportunities, and align data initiatives with overarching business goals.
- • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively, ensuring seamless coordination and execution across cross-functional teams.
- • Skilled in designing and implementing scalable, forward-thinking data solutions that adapt to evolving market dynamics and business needs.
- • Experience in leading teams, inspiring high performance, and fostering a collaborative environment across departments.
- • Working knowledge of CRM technology, with a history of leveraging these systems for data gathering and analysis; experience with Salesforce is strongly preferred.
- • Familiarity with employee benefits and group insurance products is preferred, providing context for the data analysis.
- • Expertise in project management methodologies and experience guiding organizational change management initiatives.
