- • Lead KAYAK’s lifecycle marketing strategy across email, push notifications, in-app messaging, and other owned channels to ensure timely, relevant, and personalized communications for millions of travelers.
- • Own and scale the app acquisition strategy by identifying, testing, and expanding high-quality channels that drive installs and long-term user engagement.
- • Analyze campaign performance data to uncover trends, optimize programs, and deliver clear, actionable recommendations to cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and brand.
- • Build, test, and refine segmentation and personalization frameworks to improve user retention and re-engagement across the entire traveler journey.
- • Manage and develop a team of marketing professionals, providing coaching, feedback, and growth opportunities to foster high performance and career development.
- • Collaborate with creative, brand strategy, and performance marketing teams to align lifecycle and acquisition efforts with KAYAK’s broader marketing goals and brand voice.
- • Partner with product and engineering teams to enhance marketing technology capabilities, implement new tools, and integrate systems for improved campaign execution.
- • Track, report, and interpret key metrics including retention rate, conversion rate, lifetime value, and cost per acquisition, translating results into strategic insights for leadership.
- • Stay current on industry trends in lifecycle marketing, mobile growth, and consumer engagement, bringing innovative and proven approaches to the team.
- • Ensure all marketing initiatives comply with privacy regulations and adapt strategies to evolving data usage and attribution standards.
- • Communicate complex marketing strategies and performance results clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders across global teams.
- • Work in alignment with KAYAK’s global metasearch brands including momondo, Cheapflights, and HotelsCombined to unify and optimize cross-brand acquisition and retention efforts.
- • Commute to one of KAYAK’s offices in Cambridge, MA; Norwalk, CT; or Miami, FL three times per week to support team collaboration and in-person alignment.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of experience in growth marketing, CRM, lifecycle marketing, or mobile app marketing
- • Proven track record managing high-performing engagement and acquisition programs at scale
- • Deep expertise in CRM channels including email and push notifications
- • Strong understanding of mobile app ecosystems, app growth strategy, and performance marketing
- • Experience owning paid acquisition and re-engagement campaigns across major digital platforms
- • Proven experience building and leading CRM, lifecycle, or growth marketing teams
