- • Lead the development and activation of Sony's Engagement Platform, powering how fans connect with content and creators across games, anime, music, film, and live experiences.
- • Execute platform engineering strategy, lead and mentor engineering teams, foster inclusive culture, and drive delivery of cross-platform projects aligned with strategic business goals.
- • Join Sony Engagement Platform Services (SEPS), a team building next-generation platform services that decouple application development from platform services to enable agility and efficiency across Sony’s entertainment ecosystem.
- • Shape the future of engagement technologies at scale, ensuring seamless experiences for hundreds of millions of fans worldwide while enhancing revenue streams and driving new opportunities through partnerships.
🎯 Requirements
- • BS or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience; MS in CS preferred.
- • 10+ years of experience in commerce, fintech, or digital platforms, with at least 7 years in engineering leadership roles.
- • Proven expertise in commerce platforms, digital storefronts, subscriptions, account and identity management, and cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, and event-driven systems.
- • Strong background in AI/ML-driven personalization, intelligent search, recommendation systems, and experience optimizing acquisition technology stacks.
- • Ability to influence and partner with executives across product, marketing, finance, security, and operations; track record of attracting, developing, and leading world-class engineering teams.
- • Strong communication and storytelling skills, global experience with ability to navigate cultural nuances and lead dispersed teams.
