- ā¢ The Director of Executive Compensation at Unity Technologies leads the design, governance, and delivery of compensation programs for the companyās top leadership, reporting to the VP of Total Rewards and partnering directly with the C-Suite, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure executive pay is competitive, defensible, and aligned with shareholder interests.
- ā¢ Day-to-day responsibilities include leading board and compensation committee governance, drafting proxy disclosures (CD&A), designing executive short- and long-term incentive plans (including PSU and RSU programs), managing external compensation consultants and benchmarking, building competitive offer packages for VP+ hires, and mentoring team members to elevate technical and business partnership skills.

- ā¢ In this role, the individual will develop deep expertise in executive compensation strategy, proxy compliance, equity plan design, and stakeholder influence at the highest levels, while shaping Unityās leadership pay framework and advancing their impact as a trusted advisor to the CEO, Board, and global HR leadership.
šÆ Requirements
- ā¢ Bachelorās degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; Masterās degree preferred.
- ā¢ Minimum twelve (12) years of experience in compensation management, with at least three (3) years in a leadership role.
- ā¢ Strong knowledge of compensation principles, market analysis, and regulatory requirements (including SEC regulations and proxy disclosure standards).
- ā¢ Proven ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions based on findings.
- ā¢ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels, including C-Suite and Board members.
