- • As the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) at CSC Generation Holdings, Inc., you will be instrumental in shaping the financial future of Sur La Table, a renowned brand with a significant retail presence and a vibrant culinary community. This pivotal role is designed for a strategic financial leader who thrives on delivering critical insights, driving robust financial processes, and mentoring a talented team. You will be at the forefront of financial strategy, directly influencing investment decisions and ensuring the fiscal health and growth of the organization.
- • Your primary responsibility will be to lead and refine the comprehensive budget and forecasting processes. This involves collaborating with various departments to gather financial data, develop accurate financial models, and present clear, actionable plans that align with the company's strategic objectives. You will oversee the creation of annual budgets, multi-year financial plans, and rolling forecasts, ensuring they are realistic, achievable, and adaptable to changing market conditions.
- • A key aspect of this role is driving in-depth financial analysis and reporting. You will be responsible for developing and implementing sophisticated analytical frameworks to evaluate business performance, identify trends, and uncover opportunities for improvement. This includes preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior leadership, the executive team, and the Board of Directors, translating complex financial data into clear narratives and strategic recommendations.
- • You will manage and develop a high-performing FP&A team. This involves setting clear performance expectations, providing regular feedback and coaching, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment, and identifying opportunities for professional development. Your leadership will ensure the team is equipped to deliver high-quality analysis and support across the organization.
- • This role requires a deep understanding of financial modeling and scenario planning. You will build and maintain complex financial models to support strategic initiatives, evaluate potential investments, and assess the financial impact of various business decisions. This includes conducting sensitivity analyses and developing contingency plans to mitigate financial risks.
- • You will partner closely with key stakeholders across the organization, including department heads, the merchandising team, operations, and marketing, to provide financial guidance and support. Your ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively will be crucial in aligning financial strategies with operational realities and driving cross-functional collaboration.
- • You will play a critical role in the long-range planning process, contributing to the development of multi-year financial strategies that support sustainable growth and profitability. This includes analyzing market trends, competitive landscapes, and economic factors to inform strategic financial decisions.
- • Furthermore, you will be responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements within the FP&A function. This could involve leveraging technology, streamlining reporting procedures, and enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of financial planning and analysis activities.
- • The Director of FP&A will also be involved in ad-hoc financial analysis projects as needed, responding to urgent business questions and providing timely, data-driven insights to support critical decision-making. This requires a proactive approach and the ability to quickly pivot to address emerging financial challenges and opportunities.
- • Ultimately, your contributions will directly impact Sur La Table's ability to make informed strategic decisions, optimize financial performance, and achieve its long-term business goals. You will be a trusted advisor to the Chief Financial Officer and a key player in driving the financial success of a beloved brand.
