- • As Director, Global Developer Communities at Workato, you will lead the strategy and execution to build and scale a worldwide developer community, driving engagement and product adoption through local user groups, MVP/champion programs, and student outreach.
- • Your day-to-day will involve designing and maintaining community systems and tooling, recruiting and mentoring community leaders, launching ambassador initiatives, moderating forums, and hosting events in San Francisco to strengthen ties with the local AI community.
- • Workato is a leader in enterprise orchestration, trusted by 400,000+ customers globally, known for its AI-powered platform that streamlines workflows and fosters a flexible, innovation-driven culture where employees take ownership and balance productivity with self-care.
- • In this role, you will develop expertise in community-led growth, gain influence across product and engineering teams through user feedback, and establish Workato as a central hub for developers in the AI and integration space.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience building and scaling developer communities from zero to scale
- • 5+ years of hands-on programmatic marketing, including segmentation, automation, and lifecycle campaigns
- • Direct, end-to-end experience planning and executing both in-person and virtual events
- • Experience working in startup environments and matrixed organizations
- • Strong written communication and conflict-resolution skills
- • Empathetic approach to community building with a focus on inclusivity and psychological safety
