- • Lead the design and execution of comprehensive patient recruitment and retention strategies across the Americas to support BeiGene’s clinical trial portfolio priorities.
- • Develop regionally-aligned recruitment plans tailored to specific oncology indications, geographies, and complex patient populations to meet enrollment and long-term follow-up milestones.
- • Integrate patient-centric principles into clinical trial design by partnering with Clinical, Medical, and Protocol Development teams to reduce patient burden and improve participation rates.
- • Incorporate patient insights, advocacy group input, and real-world evidence into recruitment strategies to enhance trial relevance and accessibility.
- • Oversee multi-channel recruitment execution including digital campaigns, site-based initiatives, community outreach, and partnerships with patient advocacy organizations.
- • Design and implement retention programs to minimize screen failures and dropout rates, including deployment of patient support services such as travel assistance, concierge services, and educational tools.
- • Identify, evaluate, manage, and optimize performance of recruitment vendors, digital platforms, and patient engagement partners to ensure delivery against enrollment goals.
- • Establish strategic partnerships with patient advocacy groups, site networks, and community organizations to expand reach and trust within underserved populations.
- • Drive data-driven decision-making using recruitment analytics, digital campaign metrics, site performance data, epidemiology, and predictive modeling to optimize patient targeting.
- • Evaluate and pilot emerging trends such as decentralized trials, AI-driven recruitment tools, and digital engagement technologies, scaling successful innovations across the portfolio.
- • Lead cross-functional governance to align site selection, activation, and enrollment execution with operational and regulatory objectives.
- • Directly manage and develop the Patient Recruitment and Retention team, providing leadership, coaching, and performance oversight.
- • Utilize CTMS, EDC, Citeline, Trialtrove, and other feasibility and analytic tools to monitor trial progress and inform strategic adjustments.
- • Apply analytical thinking and data interpretation to forecast enrollment timelines, identify risks, and adjust strategies proactively.
- • Ensure diversity, equity, and inclusion are embedded in all recruitment and retention initiatives to reflect the broader patient population.
- • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for recruitment initiatives while aligning with commercial and regulatory goals.
- • Collaborate effectively with global teams to ensure alignment of regional strategies with global clinical operations standards.
- • Travel may be required as business needs dictate to support trial sites, partner meetings, or strategic initiatives.
- • Maintain compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations related to clinical trial conduct and patient engagement.
