📋 Description

• Lead infrastructure security for 1Password’s cloud-native platform, ensuring secure identity, application access, and trusted devices as the company scales past $400M in ARR.
• Own security strategy across cloud infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes), identity and access management, network security, container environments, and emerging AI systems.
• Build and lead a team of engineers, collaborate with Security Operations and engineering leaders, and drive alignment on security priorities across the organization.
• Shape how AI and automated systems are secured, including access controls, policy enforcement, and risk management as these technologies evolve.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in security engineering with at least 5 years leading teams and owning meaningful security programs.
• Deep expertise in AWS and modern cloud environments, including Kubernetes and infrastructure-level security controls.
• Proven experience building or improving privileged access programs for both people and systems.
• Background in network and platform security, including network segmentation, WAF, and zero-trust architectures at scale.
• Familiarity with AI security concepts and comfort working in evolving AI and automated systems environments.
• Strong people leadership skills with a track record of building, developing, and supporting high-performing engineering teams.
