📋 Description

  • The Director, International Market Management (Sub-Saharan Africa; Europe; UK) leads strategic partnership development and relationship management to expand College Board’s global footprint in key international markets, ensuring students worldwide gain access to SAT and AP programs.
  • Day to day, the role involves developing and executing market-specific strategic plans, managing account planning and business reviews, identifying growth opportunities through data-informed analysis, maintaining a sales pipeline in Salesforce, collaborating with internal teams on program implementation, delivering professional development workshops, and building relationships with educational institutions, government bodies, and universities across Sub-Saharan Africa, Europe, and the UK.
  • The role sits within the State and District Partnerships (SDP) division’s International Team, a mission-driven, collaborative group focused on expanding college readiness opportunities outside the U.S. through partnerships with schools, networks, universities, and educational organizations.
  • In this role, the individual will deepen expertise in international education strategy, strengthen stakeholder engagement and partnership management skills, gain fluency in data-driven decision-making using College Board and market data, and contribute to scalable models for program adoption and recognition across diverse global education systems.

🎯 Requirements

  • At least 8 years of progressive experience in international education or a related field, with direct experience in assessment, curriculum, student achievement, or career initiatives strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers in schools, universities, government offices, and educational organizations.
  • Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce to manage accounts, track goals, and support opportunity management.
  • Strong analytical skills to synthesize field insights, desk research, and internal data into actionable market strategies and recommendations.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse stakeholders, including educators and administrators.
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally 25–30% of the time, with U.S. residency and a valid U.S. passport required for travel.
