📋 Description

• The Director of Clinician Engagement will lead strategies to grow and deepen engagement with MDCalc’s clinician user base across web and mobile platforms, supporting a mission-driven product used by over 65% of physicians worldwide to improve patient outcomes.
• Day to day, the role involves developing user identification and growth strategies, designing engagement and retention initiatives, executing digital marketing campaigns across email, social, SEO/SEM, and app stores, establishing analytics frameworks, collaborating with product and engineering on UX and feature adoption, evaluating AI applications for personalization, and building a culture of experimentation through A/B testing and optimization.
• The role sits within MD Aware, LLC (MDCalc), a mission-driven health tech company whose clinical decision tools are used by millions of medical professionals globally across 50+ specialties and 200+ patient conditions, reporting to the Chief Medical Officer and working cross-functionally with product, engineering, content, and commercial teams.
• In this role, the individual can achieve measurable impact on clinician adoption and retention, develop expertise in healthcare growth marketing, lead AI-informed personalization strategies, influence product direction through data-backed insights, and grow as a leader in a purpose-driven organization advancing clinical decision support at scale.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, growth, or user engagement in healthcare, health tech, or a regulated industry
• Proven track record of developing and executing strategies that drive user acquisition, identification, and retention
• Strong analytical skills with experience using data to inform decisions and measure impact
• Experience with marketing automation, CRM platforms, and analytics tools
• Familiarity with mobile app marketing, including app store optimization and push notification strategy
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders
