- • As Director of Cloud Native Applications at Caylent, you will lead the App Dev, AI, and ML practice, guiding project delivery, enabling engineering teams, and shaping high-impact solutions that help customers bring modern, AI-accelerated applications to life in AWS.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include defining strategic vision for the practice, establishing technical excellence through industry-leading methodologies, leading and mentoring a team of 50+ engineers and architects, overseeing customer engagements for quality and satisfaction, strengthening partnerships with AWS and Anthropic, supporting pre-sales and go-to-market efforts, driving innovation through thought leadership, and championing AI-powered tools to enhance engineering productivity and client outcomes.

- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in AI-enabled software delivery, scale delivery capabilities for large multi-million dollar projects, influence go-to-market strategy, represent the company at major industry events, and develop leadership experience in a fast-paced, innovative environment focused on practical AI adoption and engineering excellence.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering and software development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- • Proven experience leading and scaling an engineering practice or department, ideally within an AWS-focused services company
- • Deep expertise in AWS services, architectures, and best practices, along with strong background in DevOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automation
- • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with experience working with enterprise clients and cross-practice teams
- • Experience building, delivering, and using AI products and solutions, with a forward-looking perspective on AI-enabled software delivery
