• • This is a focused infrastructure role at the intersection of AI and data security.
• • As we expand MIRA across the entire loan file, our hardest challenges shift from model building to the infrastructure needed to securely develop, test and run AI systems.
• • You'll drive that infrastructure.
• • It's a backend engineering role where you will work in application code as well as in Terraform/AWS with a security-first mindset.
• • Plan, design, and build
• • Secure infrastructure for AI-assisted development and testing
• • Data-access security across the platform
• • Cross-cutting application features
• • You will manage your own projects, communicating designs, plans, and status updates proactively.
• • We work in Go, Python, and TypeScript with a focus on reliability and observability.
• • Strong backend engineering experience
• • A security-first mindset: you naturally consider data access and potential leak vectors for every process, person, and agent.
• • Genuine interest in AI/LLM systems and the infrastructure that makes them safe and reliable to build on
• • The ability to take an ambiguous, hard problem from design doc to production
• • Strong verbal and written communication in English
• • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) and observability tooling (e.g. Datadog)
• • Experience designing infrastructure on AWS — isolation/sandboxing, networking, and the primitives that keep systems secure under real load
