📋 Description

• Lead the end-to-end delivery function for enterprise-grade Shopify eCommerce solutions, ensuring alignment with client goals and organizational standards.
• Oversee multiple project teams composed of Technical Architects and Product Owners to deliver scalable, high-performance commerce platforms on time and within budget.
• Establish and maintain best practices for project delivery, emphasizing efficiency, innovation, and quality across all Shopify-based engagements.
• Monitor delivery pipelines, resource allocation, timelines, and budgets, proactively identifying and resolving roadblocks to maintain project momentum.
• Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to define project objectives, success metrics, and strategic priorities that align with enterprise business outcomes.
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery methodologies by incorporating feedback, industry trends, and emerging technologies into existing workflows.
• Lead complex platform migrations and custom Shopify Plus implementations for enterprise clients, ensuring seamless transitions and robust post-launch performance.
• Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of Technical Architects, Product Owners, and delivery personnel, fostering accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
• Provide regular performance feedback and career development guidance to support the growth and retention of delivery team members.
• Act as the primary strategic advisor to enterprise clients and C-suite stakeholders, building trust through transparent communication and expert guidance.
• Lead governance and steering committee meetings to deliver delivery updates, manage escalations, and align on priorities across technical and business teams.
• Leverage deep technical expertise in Shopify Plus to guide solution design, ensuring adherence to platform best practices and optimal architecture.
• Oversee integrations with ERP, OMS, and CMS systems such as Netsuite, Sanity, and Manhattan, ensuring compatibility, performance, and data integrity.
• Champion Agile delivery frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid) and ensure team adherence through tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Serve as the escalation point for critical delivery issues, ensuring swift resolution and sustained client satisfaction.
• Maintain a hands-on understanding of software development lifecycles, eCommerce platform architecture, and modern tooling to effectively guide technical decision-making.
• Promote a culture of autonomy, rapid iteration, and minimal bureaucracy, aligning with Lazer’s remote-first, high-impact operating model.
• Engage with clients across diverse industries including retail, venture studios, and enterprise brands such as Google, Shopify, Coinbase, and Hinge.
• Support the adoption of AI and modern tools in the delivery process, encouraging team members to leverage technology for efficiency and innovation.
• Ensure all delivery activities reflect Lazer’s values of excellence, transparency, and client-centric problem solving.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in project delivery, product management, or software engineering with significant focus on eCommerce
• Deep expertise in Shopify Plus, including custom development, integrations, and enterprise migrations
• Proven track record of delivering complex, enterprise-grade eCommerce solutions on time and within budget
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams of Technical Architects and Product Owners
• Strong experience managing client relationships with senior stakeholders and C-suite executives
• Solid understanding of Agile frameworks and tools such as Jira and Confluence
