- • As Director of Design, Content Ecosystem at Reddit, you will lead the design strategy for community builders, users, and developers, shaping how conversations and belonging are experienced across the platform.
- • You will define and drive end-to-end UX strategy aligned with Reddit’s brand and mission, forecast user and business needs, and act as a creative innovator and change driver to deliver significant positive impact.
- • You will lead and manage a high-performing team of designers, including senior managers, while fostering a culture of 'Great Performing Snoos' through mentorship, talent development, and embodiment of Reddit’s leadership principles.
- • You will partner deeply with Engineering, Product, and Research to drive org-wide initiatives, enhance design systems, improve delivery workflows, and champion user-centric solutions at all levels, including senior executives.
- • You will own the quality of the user experience and operational excellence of the design organization, ensuring efficiency and impact across moderator-facing products, user profile features, and the developer platform.
🎯 Requirements
- • 13+ years of relevant design experience
- • Minimum 5+ years of experience managing a team of 15+ designers
- • A world-class portfolio demonstrating design strategy and systems for consumer-facing products at scale
- • Proven experience driving company-wide strategic initiatives and cross-functional roadmapping with significant business impact
- • Ability to build solutions from first principles in ambiguous situations and elevate Leadership Team performance
- • Strong sense of user empathy, humility, drive, and motivation to ship the best product
