- • Lead and scale the Enterprise Password Management (EPM) organization at 1Password, a rapidly growing cybersecurity company with over $400M in ARR, recognized on the Forbes Cloud 100 for four consecutive years.
- • Set and align the vision and strategy for the EPM engineering teams with overarching company priorities, ensuring a cohesive and impactful direction.
- • Build and organize high-performing engineering teams, fostering a culture of curiosity, innovation, ownership, and business impact.
- • Partner cross-functionally with Product Management, Design, Security, Platform, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to establish robust roadmaps and drive execution for enterprise credential management capabilities.
- • Own the delivery execution for all enterprise credential management features, ensuring timely and high-quality releases that meet market demands and customer needs.
- • Drive the strategic direction and technical outcomes for 1Password's core enterprise credentials platform, focusing on delivering secure, scalable, and intuitive solutions.
- • Ensure deep integration of the EPM platform with critical enterprise ecosystems, including Identity and Access Management (IAM), Single Sign-On (SSO), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), and developer tooling.
- • Empower engineering teams to own their outcomes by enabling high-quality decision-making, balancing data-driven insights, speed of execution, sound judgment, and risk mitigation.
- • Uphold and continuously evolve 1Password's industry-leading zero-knowledge security model, ensuring the platform maintains uncompromising security standards while delivering an exceptional user experience.
- • Collaborate closely with Security and Compliance teams to ensure the EPM platform meets stringent enterprise requirements and adheres to relevant regulatory standards.
- • Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Enterprise Password Management, ensuring the platform scales effectively with customer needs and aligns with 1Password's compliance commitments and enterprise go-to-market strategy.
- • Foster strong cross-functional partnerships to support enterprise adoption, drive positive customer outcomes, and contribute to revenue growth.
- • Recruit, mentor, and retain top-tier product and engineering talent, actively developing leadership depth by coaching senior leaders and proactively shaping future workforce capabilities.
- • Support and set the strategic direction for teams delivering software that directly contributes to 1Password's mission of unleashing employee productivity without compromising security.
- • Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure team objectives are tightly aligned with the company’s long-term strategic goals.
- • Grow and develop both technical individual contributors and engineering managers, helping them reach their full potential within a fast-growing and dynamic environment.
- • Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to build and scale high-performing engineering teams.
- • Drive the delivery of high-impact projects, whether focused on product growth, improving user adoption, scaling integrations, or enhancing developer tools, ensuring these initiatives matter significantly to our customers.
- • Work closely with Product, Design, and other key teams to articulate and execute an engaging technical vision for the EPM domain.
- • Effectively resolve conflicts, drive alignment across diverse stakeholders, and ensure the team's work consistently supports broader company objectives.
- • Operate with a high degree of autonomy, prioritize complex initiatives effectively, and make sound judgment calls on challenging, multi-team projects.
- • Leverage your ability to scope, lead, and deliver complex projects to ensure the success of the EPM platform and its contribution to 1Password's overall mission.
- • Contribute to the digital safety of millions of users by building and enhancing the core platform that secures enterprise credentials.
- • Embrace and integrate AI/ML technologies responsibly into the development process to drive innovation and improve solutions for customers.
- • Participate in a remote-first work environment, with potential travel for in-person engagement as required for team offsites, meetings, and industry events.
