• • This pivotal role involves overseeing multiple engineering pods, fostering collaboration with Product, Platform Engineering, and Security leaders, and translating ambitious product strategies into robust, scalable, and reliable technology solutions.

• • Your engineering insights will be vital during roadmap planning and prioritization, providing critical input on technical feasibility, accurate cost estimations, and strategic resource allocation.
• • A core part of your role will involve diligently tracking engineering delivery milestones, proactively identifying potential risks, and implementing effective mitigation strategies to safeguard roadmap commitments.
• • You will be a dedicated coach and mentor to Tech Leads and engineering teams, guiding them in the development of scalable, secure, and maintainable systems that align seamlessly with the broader platform architecture.
• • Ensuring architectural consistency across all engineering pods will be paramount, facilitated by effective engineering design reviews and decisive leadership in technical decision-making.
• • Close collaboration with the Platform Engineering team is essential to maximize the leverage of shared infrastructure, APIs, and data services, promoting efficiency and synergy.
• • You will be responsible for establishing and enforcing robust engineering practices encompassing rigorous testing, high code quality standards, performance optimization, comprehensive monitoring, and unwavering system reliability.
• • Partnering with SRE and Security teams is crucial for enhancing observability, refining incident response protocols, and ensuring strict compliance with HIPAA and PHI protection mandates.
• • A forward-looking aspect of this role involves driving the adoption of AI-assisted engineering tools and automation to significantly boost developer productivity and overall engineering efficiency.
