- • The Director of Events will design and execute high-impact event activations across the tradeshow circuit and at Starbridge Systems’ flagship BRIDGES conference, turning events into measurable pipeline drivers for the company’s growth in the public sector.
- • Day to day, the role involves building scalable field marketing systems, owning end-to-end strategy and execution for BRIDGES (including programming, sponsorships, speaker pipeline, and attendee experience), testing new event formats like regional roadshows and executive dinners, aligning activations with sales and product teams to generate pipeline, and building an events team from a lean foundation with contractor support.
- • Starbridge Systems is a fast-growing B2B SaaS company focused on helping modern companies sell into the $1.5T public sector through better intelligence, operating with a flat structure that rewards high performers quickly and values craft, execution, and collaboration.
- • In this role, the person will learn to scale experiential marketing at a high-growth startup, gain end-to-end ownership of a flagship event, develop data-driven event optimization skills, and build a team while directly impacting pipeline and brand in the public sector space.
🎯 Requirements
- • 6+ years running field and experiential marketing at B2B SaaS companies
- • Experience owning a flagship event from concept to execution with measurable pipeline and brand impact
- • Ability to think in metrics such as cost per meeting, attendee-to-vendor ratio, ICP fit, and pipeline attribution
- • Experience scaling through partners and contractors while maintaining creative and execution quality
- • Willingness to travel regularly (2–4 events per month, including BRIDGES)
- • Public sector or SLED experience is a strong plus
