  • In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in driving partnerships with national governments, civil protection agencies, and critical infrastructure authorities across LATAM.
  • Your mission will be to advance regional modernization by introducing and implementing advanced weather and ocean forecasting systems.
  • You will own the entire sales cycle, from meticulously shaping market strategies and identifying opportunities to executing sales plans and achieving ambitious quotas.
  • This position demands representation of Tomorrow.io at the highest echelons of government and within international institutions, establishing our brand as a leader in climate security solutions.
  • **Manage the end-to-end sales cycle** across the LATAM region, encompassing proactive prospecting, engaging key decision-makers, developing tailored proposals, and closing multi-year public-sector contracts.
  • **Cultivate and maintain robust relationships** with senior government officials, including ministers, secretaries, and heads of national agencies, understanding their unique challenges and strategic objectives.
  • **Lead and develop channel and partner management strategies** to amplify our reach and drive significant growth within priority LATAM markets, leveraging local expertise and networks.
  • **Expertly manage RFPs, tenders, and complex donor-funded programs**, engaging with influential organizations such as the World Bank, Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), and other regional development banks, ensuring successful navigation of their procurement processes.
  • **Serve as a key representative of Tomorrow.io** at major regional government conferences, industry-specific events, and high-profile forums throughout Latin America, articulating our value proposition and fostering strategic alliances.
  • **Collaborate closely with cross-functional internal teams**, including product, engineering, and solutions architecture, to precisely tailor weather and climate solutions that address specific regional operational needs, with a particular focus on coastal management and disaster response infrastructure.
  • **Maintain a consistently strong and healthy sales pipeline**, employing data-driven forecasting and rigorous management techniques to ensure predictable revenue growth and consistently meet or exceed regional sales targets.
  • **Travel up to 25%** (both domestically within LATAM and internationally) to engage directly with clients, nurture partner relationships, and connect with government stakeholders, fostering deeper understanding and trust.
  • Understand and articulate the profound impact of advanced weather and climate intelligence on national security, economic stability, and public welfare within the LATAM context.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and emerging trends in weather technology and government procurement across the region.
  • Contribute to the overall go-to-market strategy for Tomorrow.io in LATAM, providing valuable market intelligence and insights.
  • Drive adoption of Tomorrow.io’s innovative solutions by demonstrating clear ROI and tangible benefits for government agencies.

  • This role is critical to expanding Tomorrow.io's global footprint and solidifying our position as a leader in climate security solutions for public sector entities worldwide.

🎯 Requirements

  • Native or professional fluency in Spanish and English is required; proficiency in Portuguese is highly valued.
  • 10+ years of experience in government or institutional sales, with a proven track record of success.
  • Deep knowledge of LATAM government procurement processes, modernization programs, and public sector decision-making structures.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex public tenders, RFPs, and donor-funded initiatives (e.g., World Bank, IDB).
  • Proven success selling SaaS, data, or technology solutions to public-sector customers.
  • Experience building and managing strategic partnerships with government entities and international organizations.
  • Consistent record of quota achievement and data-driven pipeline management.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-stage environment with a strong sense of ownership and mission focus.
