- • Lead the build-out and management of the Partner Engineering team, defining its charter, operating model, and success metrics to support Twelve Labs’ global ecosystem growth.
- • Develop and execute a global partner engineering strategy across key ecosystems including cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure), AI platforms, ISVs, and enterprise integrators.
- • Guide technical pre-sales and post-sales efforts to ensure seamless onboarding, solution design, and integration of Twelve Labs’ multimodal video APIs into partner environments.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Go-to-Market leadership to align technical roadmaps with market opportunities and partner needs.
- • Design and deliver enablement programs for partner technical teams—such as cloud solution architects and AI/ML engineers—to effectively integrate and scale Twelve Labs technology.
- • Drive co-innovation initiatives by building proof-of-concept integrations that demonstrate the value of Twelve Labs’ video understanding models and inspire broader adoption.
- • Represent Twelve Labs externally through conference speaking engagements, technical content publishing, and thought leadership in AI and video intelligence.
- • Monitor the competitive landscape and emerging technologies to identify high-leverage integration opportunities and inform product strategy.
- • Partner with executive leadership to shape go-to-market models, pricing structures, and joint business plans with strategic partners.
- • Serve as the primary technical advocate for partners, synthesizing feedback into actionable insights that directly influence the product roadmap.
- • Maintain deep technical fluency across cloud infrastructure, API-based architectures, HTTP, RESTful services, JavaScript, and Web SDKs to support partner integration efforts.
- • Balance strategic vision with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment, leading a small but growing team of Partner Engineers.
- • Foster strong relationships with technical and C-level stakeholders at partner organizations to drive alignment between business objectives and technical implementation.
- • Contribute to the company’s mission by advancing the adoption of Twelve Labs’ multimodal foundation models that redefine video-language understanding.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Partner Engineering, or Technical Pre/Post-Sales, with at least 3+ years in a leadership or people management role.
- • Proven experience building and scaling partner or solution engineering functions in a startup or high-growth environment.
- • Strong technical foundation across cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) and API-based integration architectures.
- • Deep understanding of developer ecosystems, including familiarity with HTTP, JavaScript, Web SDKs, RESTful APIs, and modern application frameworks.
- • Demonstrated ability to influence C-level and technical stakeholders, driving alignment between business and technical outcomes.
- • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
