This is a unique opportunity to shape the foundational elements of a rapidly growing, AI-driven healthcare organization.
- • You will serve as the primary architect of our corporate culture, ensuring it is aligned with our mission and values. This involves designing and implementing frameworks that foster a positive, productive, and compliant work environment.
- • A key responsibility will be the development and oversight of robust compliance frameworks, ensuring adherence to all relevant employment laws and industry regulations, particularly within the health-tech sector.
- • You will be the central point person for physician licensing and 1099 onboarding, managing the intricate details to ensure seamless integration of clinical talent.
- • This role demands a rare blend of strategic vision and operational execution. You will design long-term people strategies while also diving into the day-to-day "nitty-gritty" of HR and operational management.
- • You will own and manage core People Operations activities, including but not limited to, accurate payroll processing, efficient HRIS management, and maintaining comprehensive employee records.
- • As a first-line point of contact for all employees, you will handle complex employee relations issues with the utmost professionalism, empathy, and discretion, serving as a trusted resource.
- • A significant part of your role will involve building, documenting, and continuously improving People processes. This ensures consistency, compliance, and an exceptional employee experience as the company scales from its current size to over 150 employees and clinicians.
- • You will partner closely with team leadership to design and execute strategic people programs. This includes developing effective performance management processes, providing essential manager enablement, and driving impactful employee experience initiatives.

- • You will work in tandem with Clinician Operations and Talent Leadership to guarantee a flawless transition from candidate to employee. This includes optimizing the onboarding process to be efficient, welcoming, and informative for all new hires, especially clinicians.
- • A proactive approach to identifying potential issues is crucial. You will audit existing workflows to pinpoint gaps before they escalate into significant problems, taking ownership to implement necessary systems and processes.
- • You will be empowered to say, "We need a system for this," and then possess the drive and capability to build that system from the ground up.
- • This role is pivotal in ensuring that as Counsel.com, Inc. scales, its internal systems and operational infrastructure remain as robust, high-quality, and patient-centric as the care it provides.
- • You will contribute to building the future of AI in healthcare by ensuring the internal engine that supports our clinicians and operations is world-class.
- • The position offers a unique chance to influence the trajectory of a venture-backed startup in the exciting health-tech space, directly impacting both employee experience and operational efficiency.
- • You will be responsible for creating a scalable and sustainable HR and operations function that supports rapid growth and maintains compliance in a complex regulatory environment.
- • This role requires a hands-on approach, managing both strategic planning and tactical execution of HR and operational tasks.
- • You will play a key role in fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence, embodying the company's core values.
- • The opportunity to work with cutting-edge AI tools and modern HR technology to enhance efficiency and streamline workflows will be a daily aspect of the role.
