- • As Director of Platform at Vynca, you will lead the strategic development and execution of our healthcare data and application platforms, directly enabling our mission to provide comprehensive care for more quality days at home. Your leadership will ensure that complex healthcare data is securely ingested, standardized, and made actionable for patients, providers, and care teams, ultimately improving health outcomes and reducing system inefficiencies.
- • You will lead and grow a high-performing engineering organization of 15–25 professionals, fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning while mentoring managers and individual contributors to drive innovation in healthcare interoperability and scalable platform solutions.
- • Day to day, you will architect and oversee secure, scalable data pipelines and ETL solutions for ingesting and standardizing healthcare data using HL7, FHIR, CCDA, and EDI X12 standards, ensuring full compliance with HIPAA, HITRUST, and SOC2 requirements to protect sensitive patient information.
- • You will lead the development of cloud-based data platforms leveraging Snowflake, Databricks, and medallion architecture, while overseeing the creation of internal and customer-facing applications built with Angular, React, TypeScript, Java, Python, and Scala, enabling seamless integration across data science, product, and business operations teams.
- • You will partner directly with enterprise healthcare customers and vendors to integrate complex data feeds, troubleshoot technical challenges, and deliver solutions that align with clinical workflows and operational needs, acting as a trusted technical advisor in high-stakes healthcare environments.
- • You will implement Scrum and SDLC best practices using tools like Jira to align engineering output with business objectives, drive innovation in AI/ML applications for healthcare (such as NLP and predictive analytics), and ensure efficient, high-quality delivery of platform features that scale with organizational growth.

🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 4+ years in leadership roles (Director, Senior Manager, or equivalent)
- • Strong experience with healthcare data standards including HL7, FHIR, and EDI
- • Experience building ETL/data integration pipelines using technologies such as Python, PySpark, or Airflow
- • Background with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake or Redshift and microservices architectures
- • Experience with modern tech stacks including TypeScript/JavaScript (Angular or React), Java/Scala, Python, and SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, Cassandra)
- • Proven ability to lead distributed or hybrid engineering teams
- • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
