📋 Description
- • Lead the strategic vision, roadmap, and execution of PAR’s B2B payment platform serving restaurant and convenience store industries.
- • Define and deliver innovative payment solutions tailored to food service and retail operational needs, aligning product development with market opportunities and customer value.
- • Translate complex business requirements into clear technical specifications for engineering teams to implement payment features and integrations.
- • Drive cross-sell opportunities by bundling payment solutions with PAR’s existing POS, digital ordering, loyalty, and back-office software platforms.
- • Oversee daily operations of the payment platform, ensuring reliability, performance, scalability, and uptime for high-volume transaction environments.
- • Establish and monitor operational KPIs to drive continuous improvement in payment processing efficiency, error rates, and merchant satisfaction.
- • Manage risk, compliance, and fraud prevention programs specific to restaurant and retail payment environments, ensuring adherence to PCI DSS, AML, and KYC regulations.
- • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with payment processors, banks, acquirers, and regulatory bodies to ensure seamless transaction flows and compliance.
- • Optimize transaction fee structures and negotiate merchant processing terms to improve margins and reduce cost of payment operations.
- • Develop bundled solution strategies that integrate payments with inventory, loyalty, and drive-thru systems to increase platform value and customer retention.
- • Build, lead, and mentor high-performing product and operations teams, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and customer-centricity.
- • Align cross-functional teams across Sales, Engineering, Marketing, Legal, and Customer Success to ensure cohesive product delivery and go-to-market execution.
- • Represent PAR at industry events, conferences, and with executive stakeholders to promote the payment platform and strengthen brand presence.
- • Develop team objectives, incentive plans, and career growth pathways to retain top talent and scale leadership capacity.
- • Maintain a customer-first mindset by gathering and integrating merchant feedback into product iterations and operational improvements.
- • Thrive in ambiguity by bringing structure, process, and clarity to rapidly scaling payment operations.
- • Leverage data-driven decision-making to prioritize features, assess market demand, and measure product success through quantitative metrics.
- • Maintain high technical aptitude to effectively collaborate with engineering teams on card processing, ACH, wire transfers, digital wallets, and emerging payment methods.
- • Apply strategic thinking to packaging and bundling payment offerings with other PAR platform components to maximize revenue and customer lifetime value.
- • Proactively identify and mitigate fraud risks and operational vulnerabilities in payment workflows across diverse merchant segments.
- • Ensure all payment solutions meet evolving regulatory requirements and industry standards across multiple U.S. jurisdictions.
