📋 Description

• As Director of Strategy & Operations at SafeLease, you will lead cross-departmental initiatives to drive strategic and operational excellence in a fast-growing, profitable insurance technology company that designs, underwrites, and distributes specialty coverage for commercial property owners and tenants.
• You will oversee high-impact, cross-functional projects, collaborate with Product, GTM, and Support teams to identify operational improvements, develop and monitor KPIs, lead project planning and resource allocation, provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership, facilitate stakeholder collaboration, and mentor junior team members in project execution and operational strategy.
• SafeLease is a team of 70 professionals growing over 100% annually without sacrificing profitability or culture, offering high discretion, a wide aperture of problems to solve, and the intensity of a small company where every person's work is visible, backed by its own capital to control the full stack from product design to tech and speed of execution.
• In this role, you will sharpen your strategic and operational leadership skills, drive measurable impact across the organization, influence senior leadership decisions, and gain deep expertise in scaling operations within a high-growth, tech-enabled insurance environment while working alongside seasoned professionals who value high standards and low ego.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred
• 5-10 years of experience in management consulting, with a focus on strategy, operations, or transformation projects
• Exceptional project management skills, with experience leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives
• Strong analytical skills, with expertise in tools like Excel, SQL, or Tableau for strategic analysis and reporting
• Proven ability to influence and manage senior stakeholders across multiple departments
• Experience working with Product, GTM, or Support teams in dynamic, high-growth environments
