- • Lead structured problem-solving efforts by framing complex, ambiguous operational challenges, building consensus across teams, and driving cross-functional alignment on actionable solutions.
- • Map and analyze current-state workflows across departments to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and gaps in reimbursement and administrative processes.
- • Translate operational insights into clear, data-informed recommendations for process improvement and system optimization.
- • Own end-to-end execution of strategic initiatives by defining requirements, assigning owners, setting milestones, and establishing timelines for deliverables.
- • Hold stakeholders accountable to committed timelines and deliverables, proactively surface risks, and communicate project status to internal and external audiences.
- • Quantify the potential impact of strategic initiatives by measuring opportunities, setting measurable targets, and tracking outcomes against key performance indicators.
- • Communicate the business impact of operational improvements directly to executive leadership with clarity and precision.
- • Serve as an internal consultant and operational problem-solver across teams, adapting between strategic advisory and hands-on execution as needed.
- • Drive clarity and alignment in ambiguous environments by creating structure where none exists, particularly in scaling early-stage business functions.
- • Collaborate with engineering, finance, customer success, and legal teams to ensure operational initiatives align with company-wide goals and compliance requirements.
- • Support the maturation of business processes as the company grows, ensuring scalability and efficiency in reimbursement workflows and internal operations.
- • Maintain focus on aligning all strategic projects with Pivotal Health’s mission to simplify healthcare reimbursement and reduce provider administrative burden.
- • Work closely with leadership to prioritize initiatives that maximize impact on provider reimbursement recovery and operational efficiency.
- • Document and standardize best practices for recurring operational challenges to enable institutional knowledge and reduce dependency on individual contributors.
- • Act as a bridge between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to ensure operational solutions are both feasible and user-aligned.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of experience in management consulting, strategy, or a high-velocity operational role
- • Proven track record of owning and delivering cross-functional projects with multiple workstreams and stakeholders
- • Strong structured thinking — able to break down complex, ambiguous problems and build clear frameworks for action
- • Exceptional communicator (written and verbal) with the ability to influence without direct authority
- • Comfortable wearing many hats and shifting between strategic advisor and hands-on executor as needed
- • High tolerance for ambiguity; energized by undefined problems and the opportunity to build structure where little exists
