📋 Description

• As Director of Technical Product Marketing at RapidFort Inc., you will lead the global product marketing strategy for a fast-growing cybersecurity company specializing in cloud-native, container security, and DevSecOps solutions. This role is critical to driving sales enablement, demand generation, competitive differentiation, and partner growth by translating complex technical concepts into compelling value propositions for technical buyers.
• You will define and execute global product launches, develop sales enablement materials (playbooks, presentations, tools), produce thought leadership content (eBooks, blogs, white papers), engage with press and analysts as a company spokesperson, and create partner and customer-facing content including webinars, videos, and event collateral. You will collaborate closely with Product Management, Sales, Engineering, and global partners to ensure alignment and flawless execution of marketing initiatives.
• RapidFort is a remote-first, high-energy team focused on securing software supply chains and cloud-native infrastructures. You will report directly to the CMO and work in a cross-functional environment where technical depth and marketing excellence are equally valued. The company serves enterprise and government customers, including DoD contracts, requiring a strong grasp of security-focused technologies.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in cybersecurity and cloud-native technologies while shaping the market positioning of cutting-edge security products. You will develop leadership skills in strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and technical storytelling, with opportunities to influence product roadmap, go-to-market strategy, and brand perception in high-stakes enterprise and government markets.

🎯 Requirements

• 8–10 years of product marketing experience in high-tech industries
• Must have experience marketing cloud-native, Kubernetes, container security, DevSecOps, software supply chain security, or enterprise infrastructure security products
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes, Docker/container ecosystems, CI/CD pipelines, software supply chain security, and modern cloud-native architectures
• Engineering or technical background strongly preferred (computer science, engineering, or equivalent technical experience)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, engineering, or related field
• Strong project management and leadership skills in fast-paced, cross-functional environments
• Must be a U.S. citizen due to Department of Defense (DoD) contract requirements

• Base salary: $160,000 – $200,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications
