- • The Director, Operational Analytics is a leadership role responsible for developing, implementing, and managing operational analytics initiatives within the Ratings APMO function, driving data-driven transformation to enhance operational efficiency and support PMO maturity.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include developing analytics strategies and roadmaps, ensuring data governance and infrastructure quality, designing performance dashboards and reports, identifying process improvement opportunities, implementing predictive analytics for forecasting and risk mitigation, managing stakeholder relationships, evaluating and deploying analytics tools, creating documentation and training materials, and conducting ad-hoc analysis to support strategic decisions.
- • The role sits within the Ratings APMO function of S&P Global Ratings, a division of S&P Global, which provides credit ratings, research, and sustainable finance insights to enable informed decision-making across global markets.
- • The Director will develop expertise in enterprise analytics strategy, stakeholder influence at senior levels, predictive modeling, data governance, and PMO optimization, while contributing to S&P Global’s mission of advancing Essential Intelligence through integrity, discovery, and partnership.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, Business Administration, Statistics, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- • 12+ years of progressive professional experience with at least 3 years in leadership positions
- • Proven expertise in data visualization and business intelligence platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik Sense
- • Strong proficiency in statistical analysis and data manipulation tools, including SQL, Python, R, or similar programming languages
- • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing analytics strategies and roadmaps in enterprise environments
- • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence senior leadership through data-driven insights
