- • As Director of Performance Marketing & Campaigns at DeepL, you will lead the strategic integration of paid performance marketing and campaign execution to drive scalable customer acquisition and revenue growth across global markets, reporting directly to the VP of Demand Generation and owning end-to-end funnel impact from first click to closed revenue.
- • You will own and scale DeepL’s paid acquisition channels globally — including paid search, paid social, display, retargeting, ABM, sponsored content, and event promotion — ensuring efficient new user and pipeline acquisition across SMB and enterprise segments while defining channel investment strategy based on real-time performance signals.
- • You will lead a team of performance marketers and campaign managers organized around DeepL’s core product pillars (Language AI, Voice, and API), translating product and commercial priorities into pipeline-generating, revenue-driving integrated campaigns with clear conversion goals, funnel progression metrics, and revenue attribution models.
- • You will partner closely with Marketing Data Science and Ops to establish rigorous measurement frameworks across conversion rates, pipeline contribution, and ARR impact, championing a culture of experimentation through structured tests on creative, audience, bidding strategy, and landing experience to drive continuous optimization.
- • You will align campaign planning with sales targets, regional quotas, and GTM priorities, ensuring strong sales adoption, pipeline follow-up, and feedback loops while owning the global campaign calendar and execution with rigorous performance tracking against pipeline, conversion rates, CAC, and ROI.
- • You will lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team of 5+ marketers, fostering a culture of accountability, curiosity, and commercial rigor while serving as the key marketing partner to SDR, Sales, Product, and Demand Gen leadership to align campaign and performance activity with pipeline targets and revenue objectives.
- • You will represent performance and campaign marketing at the senior leadership level, articulating strategy, results, and investment rationale clearly and persuasively to influence cross-functional decision-making and drive adoption of AI-powered approaches across Marketing, Sales, and Product teams.
🎯 Requirements
- • 12–15 years of experience in performance marketing and/or integrated campaign management, with significant time spent in B2B SaaS — ideally within a global scale-up of 500+ employees.
- • Demonstrated success leading and scaling multi-channel paid acquisition programmes across paid search, paid social, display, and ABM in both self-serve and enterprise-assisted sales environments.
- • Strong AI literacy, with hands-on experience leveraging AI tools and frameworks to scale demand generation, campaign execution, and performance optimization — including use cases across content generation, audience segmentation, media optimization, and workflow automation.
- • Proven ability to embed AI into marketing operating models, driving efficiency gains, faster experimentation cycles, and improved pipeline and revenue outcomes.
- • Experience leading and developing a team of 5+ marketers, with a track record of building strong team cultures and upskilling teams in AI-enabled ways of working.
- • Deep familiarity with the B2B buying cycle — including the interplay between product-led growth, self-service revenue and assisted enterprise sales motions.
