- • As Director, Project Management - Oncology at Precision Medicine Group, you will lead cross-functional teams to develop partnership strategies for clinical trials and oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of clinical study projects to ensure quality, scope, cost, and time objectives are met.
- • Day to day, you will direct and manage Project Directors and Project Managers, interact with study sponsors as a primary escalation point, optimize profitability of the Project Management organization, assess resource allocations, select and develop talent, provide technical guidance, identify and escalate project impacts, ensure compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements, participate in business development activities, manage project inter-dependencies, conduct project evaluations and recovery efforts, measure and report KPIs, and provide ongoing feedback and coaching to supervised staff.
- • You will join a mission-driven organization committed to quality, people, clients, and performance, working within a global, cross-functional project management environment focused on oncology clinical research and precision medicine initiatives.
- • In this role, you will develop leadership expertise in managing complex global trials, strengthen strategic planning and risk management capabilities, enhance executive presence through senior stakeholder engagement, and drive continuous improvement in project delivery while fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and team excellence.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education/experience in science or health-related field; advanced degree preferred
- • Minimum 10 years of experience in clinical research, including extensive project management and line management experience or proven competencies
- • Working knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines and the clinical development process
- • Experience with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Project
- • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational skills, attention to detail, and customer service demeanor
- • Ability to travel domestically and internationally including overnight stays
