- • As the R&D Business Portfolio Strategy Lead at Biogen, you will serve as a senior strategic advisor to the Disease Unit (DU) Leadership team, acting as an integrator and trusted partner to enhance the effectiveness of the DU Head by promoting strategic alignment and improving decision-making processes.
- • You will translate data and analytics into value-creating strategies, optimize strategies at the asset, franchise, and portfolio levels, coordinate DU priorities, and ensure clear direction and effective engagement with senior stakeholders.

- • In this role, you will develop strategic thinking and leadership skills by synthesizing complex inputs into executive-level briefings, driving alignment across functions, and shaping DU priorities through scenario planning and executive engagement.
🎯 Requirements
- • Advanced degree in a relevant scientific discipline and/or MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
- • Minimum 7 years of experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, venture capital, or management consulting.
- • Proven ability to operate as a senior advisor in complex, matrixed organizations.
- • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience with executive-level materials.
- • High emotional intelligence and ability to navigate ambiguity.
- • Strong influencing skills without direct authority.
