- • As Director of Retention at Poppy & Peonies, you will lead strategic initiatives to strengthen customer loyalty, reduce churn, and deepen engagement with a mission-driven, sustainable lifestyle brand.
- • You will design and execute retention strategies across email, SMS, loyalty programs, and post-purchase experiences, using customer insights to increase lifetime value and foster long-term relationships.
- • You will partner with marketing, product, and customer experience teams to align retention efforts with brand values, ensuring every touchpoint reflects the company’s commitment to sustainability, inclusivity, and thoughtful design.
- • You will analyze customer behavior, segment audiences, and optimize campaigns through A/B testing and data-driven iteration to improve engagement and repeat purchase rates.
- • You will build and mentor a high-performing retention team, establishing clear goals, processes, and reporting structures to scale impact as the company grows.
- • You will report directly to leadership and serve as a key voice in shaping the customer journey from first purchase to lifelong advocacy.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience leading retention, lifecycle marketing, or customer loyalty initiatives in e-commerce or DTC brands.
- • Strong expertise in email and SMS marketing platforms (e.g., Klaviyo, Attentive) and marketing automation.
- • Demonstrated ability to use customer data and analytics to inform strategy and measure impact.
- • Experience designing and managing loyalty programs, referral systems, or VIP customer experiences.
- • Passion for sustainability, ethical branding, and mission-driven companies.
- • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to influence cross-functional teams.
