• • As the Director, Scientific Content, PIK at Kaplan, you will be at the forefront of developing and directing the creation of high-quality, accredited continuing medical education (CME/CE) content. This pivotal role is designed for an individual with a profound understanding of clinical science, a mastery of CME/CE regulations, and a strong grasp of instructional design principles. Your primary objective will be to ensure that all educational materials are not only evidence-based and compliant with stringent regulatory standards but also engaging and impactful for interprofessional healthcare teams.
• • You will serve as the primary in-house scientific expert, tasked with continuously monitoring and analyzing critical clinical issues, the latest scientific literature, emerging therapeutic pipelines, and identifying key thought leaders within various medical fields. This proactive approach ensures that Kaplan's educational offerings remain at the cutting edge of medical knowledge and practice.
• • A core responsibility involves ensuring unwavering adherence to all relevant rules and regulations governing accredited continuing education, including those set forth by bodies such as the ACCME (Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education), ACPE (Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education), and ANCC (American Nurses Credentialing Center). Your vigilance will safeguard the accreditation status and integrity of Kaplan's educational programs.
• • You will leverage your expertise in instructional design and adult learning theories to conceptualize and implement effective educational strategies. This involves translating complex scientific information into accessible, engaging, and memorable learning experiences that cater to the diverse needs of healthcare professionals.
• • The role demands leadership in directing project-level outcomes assessment. This includes the meticulous development of relevant metrics and assessment items designed to accurately measure the impact and effectiveness of the educational activities on clinical practice and patient care.
• • You will be responsible for the end-to-end direction and oversight of the development of high-quality educational content.
