• • Lead the strategic vision and execution for SentinelOne's engineering operations in India, spearheading the growth of a world-class engineering organization from its foundational stages to a robust team of over 50 specialized engineers.
• • Cultivate and scale a diverse engineering team encompassing critical disciplines such as backend development, data engineering, machine learning/AI, and DevOps, ensuring alignment with global technological objectives.
• • Drive the end-to-end product execution and delivery for pivotal AI-driven data pipeline optimization platform components, guaranteeing the release of high-quality software that consistently meets and exceeds ambitious growth targets.
• • Establish and champion a strong engineering culture rooted in operational excellence, implementing best practices in hiring, performance management, comprehensive career development frameworks, and proactive retention strategies to foster a high-performing and engaged workforce.
• • Collaborate intimately with global engineering leadership to collaboratively define and refine the overarching technical strategy, make critical architectural decisions, and establish effective cross-team collaboration frameworks that promote synergy and efficiency.
• • Spearhead comprehensive recruitment and talent acquisition initiatives, focusing on attracting and securing top-tier engineering talent, including senior individual contributors and experienced engineering management professionals, to build a formidable local team.
• • Provide direct management and mentorship to engineering managers, nurturing their leadership capabilities and fostering the development of technical leadership across all echelons of the organization.
• • Foster robust cross-functional collaboration with Product Management, Data Science, Customer Success, and Sales teams, ensuring a seamless and integrated approach to product development, market readiness, and ultimate customer satisfaction.
• • Implement and refine advanced development processes and best practices, including the adoption of agile methodologies, rigorous code review standards, comprehensive testing frameworks, and efficient CI/CD pipelines to optimize the software development lifecycle.
• • Own and meticulously track key engineering metrics and operational excellence indicators, including development velocity, software quality, system reliability, and team productivity measurements, using data-driven insights to inform continuous improvement.
• • Act as the primary representative for the India engineering organization in executive forums, board meetings, and strategic planning sessions, articulating the team's contributions, challenges, and future direction.
• • Forge strategic partnerships with local universities and vibrant technical communities to enhance SentinelOne's brand presence and talent pipeline within the dynamic Indian technology ecosystem.
• • Ensure seamless 24/7 global operational coverage by establishing effective coordination and communication protocols with engineering teams located in the US and other international regions, promoting a truly global operational model.
• • Contribute to the evolution of SentinelOne's AI-powered, data-driven cybersecurity platform by leading the development of innovative solutions that address complex, real-world threats and enhance enterprise observability data management.
