- • The Director, Strategic Projects, CXG will lead high-impact, cross-functional initiatives that advance Alkami’s Customer Experience strategy and drive measurable outcomes for financial institution clients, translating strategic priorities into execution to improve client health, retention, and growth.
- • Day to day, the role involves owning and executing strategic initiatives, partnering with Customer Experience and Product leadership to define and prioritize initiatives, identifying patterns and insights across the FI base to inform scalable digital products, driving cross-functional alignment across implementations, support, training, and customer success, establishing product governance and reporting cadence, leveraging data (NPS, CES, adoption metrics, support trends, product telemetry) to prioritize initiatives and measure success, designing and integrating AI capabilities into products, creating and owning a CXG product roadmap, serving as a central owner of complex multi-team initiatives, and supporting executive communications with clear narratives around customer outcomes and strategic progress.

- • In this role, the person can learn and achieve deep expertise in strategic initiative leadership within a high-growth SaaS fintech environment, develop advanced skills in data-driven decision-making and AI integration into customer-facing products, gain visibility into executive-level strategic planning, and drive measurable improvements in client health scores, time-to-value, and platform adoption across a portfolio of financial institutions.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8–12+ years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, product management, or program leadership roles, preferably in SaaS, fintech, or digital banking
- • Demonstrated success leading and owning complex, cross-functional initiatives that drive measurable business impact
- • Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to inform decisions and measure outcomes
- • Deep understanding of customer lifecycle, customer success, or client-facing operations
- • Ability to influence, align, and drive decisions with senior stakeholders across multiple functions
- • Strong communication and executive presence
