• • The Director of Strategic Sourcing is a senior leadership role responsible for executing strategic sourcing programs, governing contract value realization, and leading sourcing talent across clinical and non-clinical spend categories at Owens & Minor, a global healthcare solutions company with over 140 years of service and 14,000 teammates worldwide.
• • Day to day, the role involves performing clinical spend analysis to identify cost reduction opportunities, supporting sourcing events (RFIs, RFQs, RFPs) through bid preparation and supplier evaluation, assisting with contract documentation and pricing validation, utilizing procurement systems like Coupa and SAP to maintain data accuracy, and providing recommendations on sourcing initiatives covering $25M–$100M+ in clinical spend while operating independently on defined workstreams.
