Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the full talent lifecycle end-to-end, including sourcing strategy, hiring bar, offer process, onboarding, and 30/60/90-day check-ins, with accountability for hire success beyond offer acceptance.
- • Lead and coach a two-person recruiting team (Rodge and Sophie), setting strategy, developing skills, and maintaining accountability for team output while personally carrying requisitions as a player-coach.
- • Build and operationalize a quality of hire framework by defining “ramp success” metrics, instrumenting data collection, and using insights to continuously refine hiring standards and onboarding experiences.
- • Serve as acting People lead during Head of People’s parental leave (November 2026 – March 2027), becoming the primary point of contact for all People matters including employee relations, escalations, HR operations, and compliance — while maintaining hiring velocity.
- • Sustain a hiring pace of 25–30+ hires per quarter across the US, LATAM, and the Philippines, ensuring a 35-day time-to-hire target is met without compromising candidate satisfaction or offer acceptance rates (currently at 96%).
- • Partner closely with hiring managers to align on role requirements, hiring bar, and candidate expectations, ensuring consistent and high-quality hiring outcomes across departments.
- • Design and improve the candidate experience to preserve current metrics of 8.9/10 candidate satisfaction while scaling volume and complexity of roles.
- • Establish clear escalation protocols and decision frameworks to operate independently during the Head of People’s absence, balancing HR operational demands with ongoing recruitment priorities.
- • Drive continuous improvement in talent processes by identifying gaps in current workflows, implementing scalable systems, and measuring impact through data-driven feedback loops.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure new hires are integrated effectively into company culture and values: act as owners, give more than we take, move with speed and care, and simplify and learn every day.
- • Prepare for potential future expansion of role scope into employee engagement, culture, and HR operations after the Head of People’s return, with clear appetite from leadership to grow the function.
- • Maintain operational rigor under pressure, making sound judgments on what to handle independently, what to escalate, and what to delay — especially during the transition period of acting People lead.
- • Ensure all talent initiatives align with Moxie’s mission to empower aesthetic entrepreneurs with sustainable, burnout-free success, and reflect the company’s remote-first, globally distributed team structure.
🎯 Requirements
- • Senior talent acquisition operator with ownership of full talent lifecycle at a Series B/C or similar growth-stage company
- • Proven experience defining and measuring quality of hire, including onboarding and early employee success metrics, not just offer acceptance
- • Demonstrated ability to operate beyond pure recruiting — exposure to HR operations, employee relations, or broader People programs
- • Player-coach mindset: comfortable managing a team while personally handling active requisitions
- • Strong operational rigor and judgment under pressure, with ability to independently manage HR escalations and compliance during leadership transitions
- • Builder’s mindset: motivated by refining an already functional system into an excellent one, not starting from scratch
🏖️ Benefits
- • Real ownership of the entire talent function from day one, including strategy, process, team, and outcomes
- • Opportunity to serve as acting People lead during Head of People’s parental leave, gaining exposure to the full People function
- • Clear path to expand role scope into employee engagement, culture, and HR operations after the leave period
- • High-impact environment at Series C stage with strong momentum, 60 hires in first half of year, and 96% offer acceptance rate
