📋 Description

• Provide strategic direction and guide areas within broad function or line of business across technology functions, including software engineering, platform system development, information security, enterprise architecture, infrastructure, and PMO-Program/Project Management.
• Set the direction for strategic business and technology challenges, aligning with enterprise and GTS strategies for technical infrastructure, architecture, application systems, and related business processes.
• Be recognized as a strategic resource within the company for complex problem solving in business and technology issues, utilizing expert-level technical knowledge and internal/external networks.
• Manage relationships with peers, executive stakeholders, and team members while driving strategic or transformation change within functional responsibility and the business.
• Accomplish planning for year, multi-year, and program-level initiatives, including integrated strategic technology planning with business stakeholders.
• Engage team, peers, business stakeholders, and industry experts in innovative dialogue to further vision and innovation.
• Identify and lead industry best practices in areas of technical functional expertise.
• Actively manage risk at a functional and business level.
• Monitor performance of direct reports, provide prompt and objective coaching and counseling; conduct performance reviews and recommend salary increases.
• Identify and prioritize training needs that address department/division goals and business support needs.
• Assure effective communications are maintained across technical functional areas and externally.
• Prepare KJAs for direct reports that tie to their job descriptions and goals; monitor performance in meeting KJAs.
• Participate in the development of the department’s budget; monitor expenses to ensure department costs are within established levels.
• Monitor turnover, productivity, and overall performance to ensure adequate staffing and performance that meet functional area standards and needs.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience; minimum of 2 additional years of experience related to functional area.
• Minimum of 6 years of management experience with responsibilities for hiring, training, assigning work, and managing performance of direct reports.
• Balance of broad technology, business acumen, and leadership skills.
• In-depth knowledge of technology for functional areas of responsibility, preferably within healthcare environment.
• Wide-range knowledge of business systems and processes, especially industry “best practices”.
• Demonstrated skills in implementing technology to achieve business objectives.
• Strong demonstrated strategic planning capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of job duties.

🏖️ Benefits

• Compensation range: $105,000.00 - $165,375.00.
• Eligible bonuses and commissions as part of the compensation package.
