- • The Director of Workforce Experience and Operations leads the execution of workforce processes and communications that support the Reader lifecycle for the AP Reading event, ensuring onboarding, registration, support, and communication workflows are delivered accurately, consistently, and at scale.
- • Day to day, the Director oversees key Reader workforce processes including onboarding readiness, invitation and registration support, exception management, scheduling coordination, and workforce-related controls; owns communication delivery frameworks for Reader-facing messages; and ensures operational readiness before the Reading by activating workforce contingencies and supporting smooth transitions to live execution.
- • The role sits within the AP Program Planning team, which is responsible for the successful execution of the annual AP Reading event where millions of student exam responses are scored, supporting strategic planning, workforce coordination, logistics, vendor alignment, and data-driven decision making across 40+ AP subjects.
- • The person in this role will learn to operationalize workforce strategy and experience design, act as the source-of-truth owner for workforce process governance, and partner closely with Session Leads during live Reading operations to ensure Reader confidence and staffing readiness.
