📋 Description

• • Teach Fundamentals of Networking (CMIT 265) remotely as an adjunct faculty member for UMGC’s Cloud Computing & Telecommunications program, focusing on LAN, WAN, wireless networks, OSI model, security, and networking protocols to help students recognize appropriate network designs for given scenarios.
• • Engage adult learners through frequent interaction, motivate student success, guide collaborative problem- and project-based learning, provide constructive feedback using rubrics, and demonstrate current subject-matter expertise in computer networking and security.
• • Join UMGC, a mission-driven, global institution serving 90,000 students—including 55,000 military-affiliated learners annually—with a commitment to adult learners, flexibility, and inclusive education rooted in core values like “Students First.”
• • Develop teaching effectiveness through required two-week faculty orientation (FacDev 411), contribute to curricular improvements, and grow as a scholar-practitioner by connecting academic concepts to real-world networking and security practices.
