  • • Stoneridge Software is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) implementations and other Microsoft Technology projects. As a key member of our Project Management Office (PMO), you will be instrumental in ensuring projects meet client business goals by meticulously balancing scope, resources, and budget constraints. This role is critical to our mission of helping clients win through intentional leadership, thoughtful teaching, and eye-opening possibilities.
  • • You will be responsible for developing comprehensive project management plans and ensuring their rigorous execution by project teams. Your primary objective will be to achieve project goals within established scope, schedule, budget, and quality parameters, all while maintaining a high degree of client satisfaction. This involves a proactive and hands-on approach to project leadership, stakeholder management, and risk mitigation.
  • • A typical day in this role involves successfully leading and managing large and/or complex Dynamics 365 F&O projects from initiation to closure. This includes all facets of project management: planning, monitoring, controlling, reporting, issue and risk management, and stakeholder engagement. You will be expected to provide excellent service and cultivate strong, ongoing relationships with clients, always demonstrating the highest degree of integrity.
  • • You will provide day-to-day leadership and influence over project teams, effectively driving tasks, managing budgets, adhering to timelines, and ensuring teams remain within the defined project scope. A critical part of your role is the diligent updating of project plans, forecasting (PSA), and budgets on a weekly basis, ensuring all stakeholders have accurate and timely information.
  • • Building and maintaining robust relationships with clients is paramount. You will work independently and communicate effectively with Client Partners and line-level project team members. Furthermore, you will be empowered to participate in and lead strategic conversations with high-level client stakeholders, including directors and above, with support from the Client Partner.
  • • You will be responsible for organizing, facilitating, and driving key project meetings, including steering committees, project planning sessions, and recurring team meetings. Your ability to independently maintain project budgets within Stoneridge's tools and proactively report status, identify potential issues, and develop effective resolutions is crucial.
  • • Fostering collaboration within project teams is a core responsibility. You will prioritize your own work and that of the project team on a day-to-day basis with minimal guidance, ensuring efficient progress and a cohesive team dynamic.
  • • A key aspect of this role is defining project scope, goals, and deliverables that align with our clients' business objectives. You will cultivate trusting relationships by understanding client resource capabilities and constraints, and adeptly adjusting project plans to accommodate these factors.
  • • You will develop and successfully deliver large-scale project activities, encompassing scheduling, resourcing (including forecasting), project budget management, risk planning and mitigation, backlog scope management, and proposal development. Managing team activities and project dependencies will be essential to ensure on-time project deliverables.
  • • You will expertly manage issues and escalations on projects, consistently demonstrating empathy and strong interpersonal skills to navigate challenges effectively. Planning and scheduling consultant work, and negotiating the resolution of resourcing conflicts, will be part of your daily responsibilities.
  • • Collaboration is key, and you will work closely with project teams and clients to achieve shared objectives. This role offers a remote-forward culture with opportunities for in-person collaboration at our Fargo, ND, and Minneapolis, MN offices, and requires travel up to 25% for industry events across the United States and Canada.
  • • Stoneridge Software is recognized as a 2025 Top Workplace Honoree, a member of the Microsoft Inner Circle, and an award-winning Microsoft Solutions Partner. We pride ourselves on a meticulous approach to project delivery and a commitment to long-term client support. Our culture emphasizes integrity, tenacity, continuous improvement, and a healthy work-life balance, supported by flexible work environments and personalized development plans.

  • • Direct experience developing detailed project plans, scope documents, backlogs, project schedules with dependencies, and resource forecasts and plans.
  • • Ability to successfully manage budgets and timelines, proactively identifying issues and effectively communicating solutions to clients.
  • • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
