- • Demonstrate Dyson’s technology and products to shoppers through in-person consultations, ensuring a premium and informed retail experience
- • Utilize Dyson’s proprietary sales model to engage customers, identify their needs, and guide them toward the most suitable products for their specific requirements
- • Serve as the primary in-store representative for all Dyson products, maintaining brand integrity and consistency across retail locations
- • Adhere strictly to in-store demonstration protocols, health and safety standards, and visual merchandising guidelines
- • Educate retail sales associates and customers on the technical features, benefits, and innovative engineering of Dyson products
- • Perform operational tasks including stock replenishment, display maintenance, cleanliness of demo units, and inventory management
- • Accurately and timely complete reporting using Dyson’s CRM and HRIS systems to track customer interactions and sales performance
- • Travel within a defined territory to assigned retail locations, transporting demonstration equipment and supplies weighing up to 50 lbs
- • Work a minimum of three days per week, including every Saturday and Sunday, during standard, peak, and holiday retail hours
- • Maintain physical stamina to stand for up to eight consecutive hours during shifts
- • Build and sustain strong relationships with Dyson Canada Ltd. teams and third-party retail partners
- • Apply adaptable sales techniques and strong negotiation skills to drive customer satisfaction and sales outcomes
- • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook) and iPad-based applications for reporting and communication
- • Uphold Dyson’s culture by embodying its values of innovation, integrity, and customer-centricity in all interactions
- • Participate in sales contests, incentive programs, and performance reviews to maximize individual and team results
- • Support the Dyson Demonstration Equipment Program by properly handling, maintaining, and transporting demo units
- • Contribute to the Friends & Family purchase program by leveraging employee discount privileges
- • Maintain fluency in both English and French to effectively communicate with diverse customer bases and colleagues
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of 2 years of in-person retail selling experience
- • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas
- • Fluency in both English and French
- • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours and lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
- • Availability to work retail hours including every Saturday and Sunday
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and iPad applications
